If I Would Look After My Emotions
‘For anyone who would like to have a firm discussion with their emotions sometimes.’
Emotions unceasingly change, they respond to, layer on and stumble over each other. They don’t like to be fair or stick by the rules. In a series of self portraits each drawing is a snap shot of what I would look like if I would look like my emotions in that exact moment. Together I imagine these women forming a society, inhabiting a person.
A research on how to collect something so abstract and fleeting as emotions. Making them tangible, defining them and allowing them to claim their space.
